Groton Matters was created in recognition of the challenge that Groton residents have had with getting thorough, unbiased information on important issues that would eventually come to affect their taxes and / or their quality of life in  Groton.      Well intended information sessions on many matters are more often one sided presentations by proposal advocates delivered in an environment that can inhibit tough questions.

Groton Matters will follow a well known format of examining issues through a panel of subject matter experts and other relevant guests.  We will ask the tough questions.  Where there are potential points of conflict we will bring in representatives of various sides of an issue.  The show's host will facilitate a balanced discussion with the objective of leaving viewers with a well rounded understanding of the matter including a sense of all sides of the argument for or against where appropriate.
